Your guide to fares and tickets
Whether you travel once in a blue moon, or love our buses so much you can never get off them, we have a ticket to suit you!
If you only travel occasionally, or maybe up to two or three times a week, pay as you go with a single or return ticket. The price varies according to how far you are travelling. If you travel regularly, you can travel as often as you like with a PurplePass:
- PurplePass Eastleigh is valid on the whole of Velvet C and E8, and on Velvet A and E2 within Eastleigh only. It costs £12 for a week or £50 for a month.
- PurplePass Unlimited is valid on all our buses, all the time. This one costs £6 for a day, £17 for a week or £65 for a month.
- You can buy your PurplePass from the driver of any Velvet bus, and you can even use it on Stagecoach and First journeys on Velvet A and C.
- If you live outside the Eastleigh area but attend Barton Peveril College, we love you so much you have your own special version of PurplePass Unlimited. Click here.
- If you travel frequently between Velmore and Eastleigh, try our new V:10 ticket - offering ten trips in either direction for £10 - that's just £1 per trip!
If you have an English National Concessionary pass you are welcome to travel free on our buses, and we also take part in Solent Travelcard and PlusBus.
